When I was a kid on the South East Side of Chicago there were THREE Steel Mills IN my neighborhood. Big mills that took in raw iron ore and coal at one end, and ALL KINDS of products made from steel came out of the other end.  Today - that's 100% Gone.

Ann Rand used to say, "If you REALLY want to do something for the working class put a Steel Mill at the end of their block." From personal experience I can tell you that She was right-on.

There were 250 Tanneries in Chicago, and EVERY kind of leather product was made: shoes, coats, lady's handbags, EVERYTHING.  Today - that's 100% Gone.

Electronic devices of every kind were made in Chicago: radios, TVs, toasters, air conditioners, Everything. Today - that's 100% Gone.

The American Economy in 2012 is an economy based on 200% MORE retail stores than America needs, and stores that are selling products made somewhere else in the world. With the products being 40% paid for with queer-fabricated and/or borrowed Money. This is today's NORMAL. The American economy of 50 years ago is 60% GONE. That economy is Detroit. There's NOTHING for the FED to go back to.

The problem is much Deeper than Bernanke and the current FED jerks being Keynesian A-holes. For the last half century Washington DC has been full of Keynesian A-holes who said and still SINCERELY believe that there is NO difference between a Tattoo Store and a Steel Mill.

I'm NOT kidding. In "Keynesian Economics" there is no difference between a Tattoo Store or a Steel Mill. Or a whore on the street and a Doctor in a hospital. All sane people reading this are saying, "That's crazy." Yes, it IS totally crazy. That's why America is de facto bankrupt, and becoming MORE bankrupt every passing week.

Greece and Spain have comfortable Wine Bars and are bankrupt, but Germany and China have sweaty Steel Mills and are doing great. (I'm using "Steel Mills" as a catch-all for useful product manufacturing). 

NO SWEAT NO GAIN. Do you think the FED Keynesian Krackpot Zombies will ever SEE that all of their Trillions of Queer Dollars are a BRIDGE TO NOWHERE? The America that the FED is trying to get to no longer exists. Do you think the US Congress Dodo Birds will ever see that the growing ROT is the new "Normal," and is NOT going to stop all by itself? Do you think the Terrified of a little pain & work American Voters will actually find some courage to say "No" to FREE? Do you think the vote-buying Democrats will ever stop becoming ever more destructive with each new election? Do you think the Gordon Gekkos will stop raping the Corporations they control? Will the Unions stop having GREED as their god?  Do you think the Pentagon's Generals will ever stop living in WWII long enough to SEE that the US Military cannot forever run on borrowed money from Asia?  Will America's voters start thinking of America's long term good rather than what they are going to get for FREE at somebody else's expense?         Don't hold your breath.
